Wine festival in Bandra
On November 9-10, 2013, Mumbai will see this year’s edition of The Bandra Wine Tasting Festival being held at D’Monte Park Recreational Club, Bandra. You will find 15 Indian wineries serving their wines at the festival including Fratelli, Charosa, Grover Zampa and Vallonne amongst others. And if you find yourself in need of some guidance around the wines on offer, you can join in on the wine walks which will be taking place. Accompanying the wines will be food from restaurants Poco Loco, Gusto, Mocha Mojo, Tenka Momo Stall, etc. There will also be a dedicated cheese counter by Kya Cheese Hai.
The festival has more to offer than just wine and food. You can try your feet at some grape stomping or even the Latin dance sessions. If that is not your cup of tea, watch Chef Gaurav Gidwani of Mocha conduct a live cookery show. There is also an art gallery showcasing works of 5 talented artists as well as a poetry reading session. The evening will see the performances of Whirling Kalpas and Bombay Acoustic People.
